Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a critical role in the store's operations. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Educational Background & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail work experience is an advantage.
