Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to uphold company standards and deliver excellent customer service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and security measures
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capability to follow cleaning standards and company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
