Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a premium shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Follow company policies while maintaining confidentiality
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in customer service and operating cash registers
- Able to operate store equipment and perform general cleaning duties
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment
- Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable
