Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and keep merchandise displays organized.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience, providing exceptional service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Safe and proper operation of equipment.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge.
