Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in your role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and customer experiences to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document and data security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
