Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc, you will be the clinical leader of the care team, ensuring smooth operations and providing high-quality care to patients. Working under the supervision of healthcare professionals, you will be responsible for managing high-risk patients, offering patient education, performing direct care services, and handling triage duties.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate infection control practices.
• Provide age-appropriate care for pediatric patients.
• Assess and address the needs of clients and families.
• Offer urgent care and triage services.
• Accurately document nursing care using EMR systems.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and perform in-office procedures.
• Coordinate post-hospitalization care and follow-ups.
• Stay updated with pediatric care practices through continuing education.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Adherence to HIPAA compliance.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and office software.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed to practice nursing in Massachusetts as an LPN/RN.
• Current BLS certification.
