Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

Join ALDI as a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker and contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience in a collaborative team setting. As a Cashier, you will process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, and deliver exceptional customer service. In the Stocker role, you will ensure product availability, create attractive displays, and operate machinery with safety in mind. Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting, and walking as part of daily responsibilities.

Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and relay important information to the direct leader.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and information.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service, offer assistance, and provide feedback to management.

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, rotate products for freshness, and create well-merchandised displays.
• Operate machinery safely, follow safety guidelines, and handle inventory efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to interpret and apply company policies, and effective communication.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma preferred, retail experience beneficial.
• Familiarity with company products and services.
