Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a vital part of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills while performing daily tasks.
  • Process customer transactions, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
  • Participate in inventory counts, follow cash handling procedures, and adhere to company policies.
  • Ensure the store's cleanliness and organization according to set standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
  • Knowledge of retail equipment operation and general cleaning practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
