Store Team Member

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. Collaborate with the ALDI team to ensure our store meets the highest standards of operation.

Position Type

Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills consistently
• Process customer purchases, restock shelves, maintain merchandise displays neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service, assist customers, and communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Follow company policies and maintain security and confidentiality of information
• Perform physical tasks related to stocking and maintaining the store

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Interpretation and application of company policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
• High school diploma preferred, retail experience is a plus

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience preferred
