Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Store Team Member to join our dedicated team at Aldi. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of our store. Your efforts will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and collaborating effectively with our team.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash policies and company procedures
• Adhere to company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience is advantageous
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
